RSR has advised Payrails on its USD 6.4 million Seed Financing Round which was led by the renowned US VC investor Andreessen Horowitz, making its first FinTech investment in the DACH region. Andreessen Horowitz was joined by HV Capital and an impressive list of business angels such as Delivery Hero SE Chief Financial Officer Emmanuel Thomassin, the Flixbus founders Jochen Engert, André Schwämmlein and Daniel Krauss as well as the founder of HelloFresh, Dominik Richter.
Payrails is building out the ledger-based operating system Payrails OS that allows enterprise companies to build, operate, and scale payment acceptance and embed financial services without the need for a costly and complex in-house infrastructure.
RSR was mandated ahead of the seed financing round and is looking forward to further strengthening the relationship with Payrails in the coming years.
